Entering 2025, Dimulti Indonesia intends to expand Type Approval Certification Services for ICT Products in Southeast Asia. At the end of April, to be precise, from April 21 to May 5, 2025, the Dimulti Team serialized the plan by visiting several selected countries.
The countries visited in expanding Type Approval Certification Services for ICT Products in Southeast Asia are Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam. Due to several reasons, two other countries that have been included in Dimulti’s expansion target, Thailand and Cambodia, have not been visited.
The incomplete number of countries visited did not discourage the Dimulti Team, represented by Rachmadh Dwi Rinanto (Project Handler) and Hasasiya Salafush Narmadi (Junior Project Handler) in expanding Type Approval Certification Services for ICT Products in Southeast Asia.

The journey of Type Approval Certification Services for ICT Products in Southeast Asia began on April 21, Rachmadh Dwi Rinanto, commonly called Anto, and Hasasiya Salafush Narmadi, commonly called Hasa, visited the first country, Singapore. There they met with Local Agency who will help all Dimulti projects that will enter Singapore.
After Singapore, on April 24 Anto and Hasa visited Malaysia, one of the neighboring countries that is not much different from Indonesia in many ways. There, the Dimulti Team was warmly welcomed by the Local Agency who was already in good contact with us from the previous project for their Type Approval needs in Indonesia.
The third country visited was the Philippines, precisely in Quezon City, Manila. In the Philippines, Anto and Hasa not only met with Local Agency, but they also met with the authorities from the country, namely the National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) which will also help all projects that will enter there.
The Philippines was the longest-visited country by the Dimulti team. Anto and Hasa spent time in the city whose vibes are similar to Indonesia in the early 2000s for 6 days, from April 28 to May 2, before continuing their journey to Vietnam.
Being the last country visited, beyond expectations Vietnam became a comfortable country when visited by the Dimulti team. There they met with Local Agency who will help Dimulti projects that will enter Vietnam. Anto and Hasa spent 2 days in Vietnam, from May 3 – 5, before finally returning to Indonesia.
What did Dimulti Do During its Journey to Expand its Services to Southeast Asia?
During approximately 15 days of traveling to expand its market in Southeast Asia, the Dimulti Team met with several Local Agencies and state authorities to discuss several things. Here are some of the things that the Dimulti Team discussed:
- Discussing cooperation in each country in managing Type Approval Certification Services for ICT Products.
- Discussing the process of making certification in each country from the beginning until the certificate is issued.
- Knowing the requirements for making certification in each country both document and technical completeness.
- Learned some differences in the certification process in each country with those in Indonesia.
The Country Selection Considerations Southeast Asia Expansion
Dimulti Indonesia plans to expand in early 2025 to several Southeast Asian countries. Six countries were chosen as the opening doors for Dimulti’s entry into the Type Approval Certification Services for ICT Products in Southeast Asian market, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia.
