Regulation on KEPDIRJEN SDPPI NO 109 TAHUN 2024

On this regulation updates the test lab such as lab name/address change, labs merging, acquisition, etc., Directorate General of Digital Infrastructure or DJID (Formerly SDPPI) thinks that they need to update their recognized overseas lab list.
This regulation also recognized test Labs for HKT products [Mobile Telephone, Handheld Computer, and Tablet Computer] there are 37 labs. Lab for the non-HKT products, or other products except Mobile Telephone, Handheld Computer, and Tablet Computer, there are 105 labs.
The Director General Decree Number 109 Tahun 2024, has met its close date on December 31, 2024.
Updates From KEPMEN KOMDIGI NO 13 TAHUN 2025

One point to note from this control is the legitimacy period. In spite of the fact that this direction was issued on January 15th, 2025, the legitimacy period is extending from January 1st, 2025, until December 31st, 2026.
This implies that the test reports issued by research facilities recorded in this control will be acknowledged by DJID to do printed material applications inside the other two for a long time, from the start of 2025 to December 31st,2026.
Besides, in the new KEPMEN KOMDIGI NO 13 TAHUN 2025, the list of recognized outside test labs there are 103 labs. The list includes a test Lab for HKT products [Mobile Telephone, Handheld Computer, and Tablet Computer and for non-HKT products.
Also, the new Testing Scope is only: Radio Frequency (RF), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), and Electrical Safety (CB safety). Hence, there are two types of test reports missing: Laser Safety and Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) reports.
For these two types of reports, currently, the accreditations are only assigned to local labs. This means, that devices that have optical interfaces that are mandatory to do laser safety testing, as well as Tablet and Mobile Phones that are mandatory to do SAR tests, are only allowed to do both tests in the local lab.
