On Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24, 2025, PT Dimulti Indonesia held a writing class for employees. The class was attended by eight people from various business units, including Dimulti Approval, Dimulti Media, Dimulti Education, Dimulti Musik, and the Accounting Team.
The writing class for employees was held at the Dimulti office located in Depok. The exercise was conducted in collaboration with Intermedia Karya Utama, which appointed Mr. Jumairi Haryadi as the speaker. The theme of the two-day class was “Professional Writing and Editing Exercise.”
The main topics in the writing class for employees were main mapping and storytelling. Over the course of two days, participants honed their skills to master both issues effectively.

On the first day, Mr. J. Haryadi focused on presenting theories related to the main topic of the class and sharing his experiences in the world of writing. At the end of the session, participants were asked to create a mind map and tested on their free writing skills to put the theories they had learned into practice.
On the second day, the class focused on writing practice. Participants were asked to create a mind map again using notes from the previous day. From the mind map they had created, participants were then asked to write freely using storytelling techniques.
Surprisingly, many of the participants’ writings contained interesting stories. It’s no wonder that Mr. J. Haryadi was often surprised by the writing skills already possessed by the participants.
Writing skills are a crucial focus in the company. Mr. Umbul Narmadi, the Director of PT Dimulti Indonesia, always administers a writing test to all prospective employees.
Writing class for employees is one of the efforts to improve the quality of workers. With their new skills, it is hoped that employees can apply their knowledge in their respective jobs.
According to Mr. Umbul, good writing skills are essential for each employee. “I want every employee to have good writing skills, which can be applied to support their respective jobs,” he said at the opening of the class.
Mr. J. Heryadi, the speaker, was highly impressed by Mr. Umbul’s focus on developing writing skills among his employees. “It’s rare for companies to prioritize their employees’ writing skills. This is excellent, as someone with strong writing skills will have a solid framework for their work,” he remarked admiringly.
The writing class for employees was also well-received, as it broadened their knowledge. Rizza Asyhari, representative of the accounting team, felt that the class helped him understand the main mapping method correctly, enabling him to think in a more structured approach.
“This class is also very beneficial when applied to email communication with clients. We can convey messages using effective storytelling language, making clients more engaged and able to understand our intentions easily,” he said when asked about the benefits of the exercise.
Ultimately, the writing class for employees organized by Dimulti is expected to have a significant impact. The impact is, of course, to improve the quality of each employee. With the collective improvement in employee quality, this will certainly have a significant impact on the company.
