Dimulti: Giving a Business Coaching Class for SMA AL-Jannah

Jakarta, April 8, 2026, PT Dimulti Pilar Narmadi received the opportunity to participate in a business coaching class at Al-Jannah Islamic High School for Nature and Science in Cibubur.

This activity was created to assist students from the Good Environmentally Based Student Company (Goviesco) who will be participating in the Jakarta regional Company of the Year competition. This is an entrepreneurship competition held by Prestasi Junior Indonesia (PJI).

The competition will be held on May 9, 2026. Goviesco will compete against four other schools. Winners will advance to the national level. Furthermore, if they win at the national level, they will represent Indonesia in the Asia Pacific region.

At the competition, Goviesco introduced an environmentally friendly air purifier called the Kuro Bag. Mr. Umbul Narmadi, the director of Dimulti,  tried the product before mentoring the students.

During the coaching class, Mr. Umbul directly provided the business coaching. He was asked to present material focused on sales and marketing.

The event was attended by six students from Goviesco’s sales and marketing division and one accompanying teacher. The event began with an explanation of the parameters the students hoped to achieve in the competition.

Mr. Umbul began to dissect each of the parameters the participants wanted to achieve, including market targeting, positioning, marketing strategy, innovation, and market strategy development plans.

The coaching session was two-way, with participants engaging with Mr. Umbul’s presentation and raising many questions about the discussion. The discussion eventually narrowed down, focusing heavily on marketing strategy.

According to Mr. Umbul, Goviesco’s marketing strategy was good, but still imperfect. “I like the content idea; it’s good. But there’s still something missing; there’s no call to action,” he said.

Mr. Umbul explained the marketing strategy

There are three essential elements in a marketing strategy: education, information, and transactions. Of these, Goviesco lacks strong content focused on Calls to Action (CTAs), which are related to attracting customers to make transactions.

Mr. Umbul also explored the marketing tools used by Goviesco. He began delving into websites as a marketing tool.

Mr. Umbul gained a lot of insight from this perspective. He believed his website was still very raw and needed much development to be used as a marketing tool. He emphasized that there are four elements to strengthening a website: Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T).

The Director of Dimulti explained that strengthening the website is crucial, as content is managed under our own platform. This differs from social media, which relies on the platform itself and whose longevity is unknown.

He gives the example of Dimulti, which has been running for over 17 years. He relies on the website by building E-E-A-T and using soft-selling techniques. This has led to repeat orders, which continue to this day.

From there, the students were advised to create pillar articles to strengthen the website, referring to these four elements. The discussion that followed resulted in an agreement on around a dozen possible article titles.

In the middle of his presentation, Mr. Umbul also gave the students a short writing test. He wanted to determine which students had sufficiently strong writing skills.

From there, they could focus on developing the required articles. Mr. Umbul asked the participants to freewrite using a red and white striped snack box.

All participants were given 10 minutes to write. From there, two individuals were selected who were deemed capable enough to write the required articles. The Dimulti Media team would then provide guidance and guidance to perfect their writing.

By the end of the session, the discussion was lively, with numerous questions and discussions. Even Miss Lia, the accompanying teacher, joined in, asking questions and expressing her concerns.

According to Miss Lia, the students were still not maximizing their potential. “Yes, they need to maximize their efforts, considering that competitors are also starting to monitor their every move,” she said.

Ultimately, this coaching isn’t just about winning competitions. It’s much more than that; the hope is to maximize each individual’s potential.

This way, each student can improve their competencies. And in the future, a good entrepreneurial spirit can be applied in the real world and in their lives.
