The collaboration of South Korean laboratories under the Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) with Indonesia continues to grow. Previously, four laboratories had already signed the agreements.
Recently, five more South Korean laboratories under MRA have entered into partnerships with Indonesia. Now, there are a total of nine laboratories whose test reports can be used for certification applications from the Directorate General of Digital Infrastructure (DJID).
The addition of South Korean laboratories under MRA is an effort to expand the availability of laboratory options for manufacturers and importers wishing to market their products in Indonesia. This is expected to expedite the certification process and expand testing capacity.
New South Korean Laboratories under MRA
Initially, in May 2025, Indonesia collaborated with Nemko Korea and Dt&C Korea. Then, in June 2025, two new South Korean laboratories were recognized under the MRA: Korea Testing Laboratory (KTL) and Eurofins KCTL Co., Ltd.

List of South Korea Laboratories

With the addition of the five South Korean laboratories under MRA above, there are now nine laboratories recognized by the DJID under the MRA scheme, namely:
- Nemko Korea Co., Ltd.
- Dt&C Korea Co., Ltd.
- Laboratorium Pengujian Korea (KTL)
- Eurofins KCTL Co., Ltd.
- Bureau Veritas CPS Korea Tech Limited
- HCT Co., LTD
- Korea Testing & Research Institute
- ONETECH Corp
- SK Tech Co., Ltd
These nine laboratories have different but complementary testing scopes. The South Korean laboratories under MRA have valid test results recognized by Indonesia.
Therefore, the limited number of laboratories required for DJID certification is no longer an excuse.
Impact for Indonesia Type Approval
The addition of South Korean laboratories under MRA will undoubtedly impact manufacturers and importers. This will certainly facilitate those who wish to apply for Indonesian type approval through local testing but prefer not to undergo testing at a local lab due to various reasons.
This will make it easier to obtain test reports as a requirement for certification applications. For the next two years, starting from the date of the agreement, the above list of laboratories can be used for DJID certification testing.
This is one of the government’s steps to streamline the overall local testing plan required for DJID certification.
