The Ministry of Communications and Digital (KOMDIGI), through the Directorate General of Digital Infrastructure (DJID), plans to implement all telecommunication devices required for the CISPR 35 EMC test in Indonesia for DJID certification.
All telecommunication devices are required for the CISPR 35 EMC test in Indonesia for the DJID certification requirements, which will be effective on July 1, 2025. Any application for DJID certification submitted after that date must include the EMC emission and immunity test report.
Hence, what communication devices are required for the CISPR 35 EMC test in Indonesia? You can find out the answer by reading this article until the end.
What is CISPR 35?
CISPR 35 is part of the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) test. This is an international standard from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) that tests the ability of electronic devices to deal with external electronic interference.
With the CISPR 35 EMC test, electronic devices such as modems, routers, and other network equipment are not only safe but also less prone to interference when used in real environments.
Why is the test important?
The CISPR 35 EMC test is important to protect device functions from electromagnetic interference. In addition, this test also prevents interference with other devices and ensures network system stability.
For industry players, EMC CISPR 35 testing is also important because it adapts to international regulations. So that products that are marketed have been ensured to be legal administratively and also safe for use by the public.

Documents to Prepare for the DJID Certification Process

Industry players who market telecommunication devices included in the list of telecommunication devices are required to undergo the CISPR 35 EMC test in Indonesia and must prepare several documents to obtain the DJID certification.
The documents that the applicant must prepare are the EMC Emission test report, the EMC Immunity test report, the Technical documents, and the Declaration of Conformity. For EMC test, a report must be issued from accredited laboratories by referring to CISPR 32 & CISPR 35.
The Laboratory That Can Be Released Test Report

Not all laboratories can issue test reports for the CISPR 35 EMC test. Here are some laboratories whose test reports are acceptable:
- BBPPT/IDTH
- Qualis
- HCT Indonesia
- Overseas laboratories (MRA)
Are You Ready for the New Rules?
